Second viewing of M2, after having seen it once with the recursive outing group. Very rewatchable, like the first.

05-15-2003, post-movie, post-spoo [BF]

WOW!!!!!!!

An amazing movie! Even though some things weren't perfect (funny how 4 years of anticipation build up those expectations), it was very good. Some people didn't like the rave/nookie scene. Give them violence, death and blood and it's all good. Show a little booby and they all panic. Go figure.

I was extremely glad that they went the philosohpical route, when they could easily have devolved into mindless action. Even the more fantastic scenes, like the Burly Brawl, were done well and were enjoyable (though a couple friends disagree).

We also stayed after the movie to see the Revolutions teaser. Really not much shown, but you hear the new Oracle's voice, and you see a few intro scenes from the Super Brawl. Oh, and Persephone with bright red lipstick. Tres zesty, as Merovingian would say.

We were right - no chickies today. It's all good though, since we had Jim, our zesty freestyle-enabled singer. Props to Jim for a great job!
