Herein lie the stories sung of Nikhil when the world was young.

01-30-2002 latenight

So I was talking to someone pretty cool tonight.

"...And her name was Adair."

Now does that sound like the first part of a song lyric or what? :)

01-30-2002

So the fun girl at Starbucks, early in the mornings, is named Michelle.

And my good friend is hitting on a Michelle in Columbus.

What if it's the same girl working 2 jobs?!?!

Nikhil is actually taking a day off?!?!?! My God!

I mean, My Me! I mean... Me!

Ah, screw it. You know what I mean.

01-25-2002

Malchorious and I went and saw Kung Pow, Enter the Fist. There were some truly disturbing references in that movie, not least of which to an old martial arts master with a very long rubber glove. YIKES!!!

Of course, the whiney chick that couldn't decide whether or not to take it off was amusing, as was the fight with the cow. Much better than anything in the trailers. And of course, a bad guy named Betty. Overall, though, I'd give it a 5/10.

01-19-2002 far too latenight

WOW!!!

I thought the I-X Center car show was impressive, but this was insane. A bunch of us from work went up and we had to work hard to cover the whole thing! We walked around for over 6 hours, with one 15-minute chips and pop break.

Lamborghinis! Ferraris! Pontiacs!!! Concept cars everywhere. A waterfall that spelled out "Jeep" and other pictures and text. Super-hot car model chickies (especially Infiniti). Too bad the chicks don't come with the cars. I'd do a lot of things to earn the 60 grand for a Q45. And of course, giant multi-level displays that were truly impressive. Ford and BMW had particularly cool ones.

01-18-2002

Getting ready for the Detroit Car Show? You should be!

01-17-2002

So Barbara Walters (of 20/20 fame) was on Larry King tonight. She was hyping the new show with a new co-anchor. I was almost falling asleep when I heard the following quote from BW:

"I've done more than my share of murderers."

01-10-2002

Today's lesson: Do not put a cat into a clothes dryer. It may produce a pleasing rythmic sound, however, the cat will probably be rather disoriented.

Administer sobriety tests as necessary.

01-09-2002

So my replacement monitor from Radius was delivered today. It's damn nice to have a 19" screen back on my desk. The video wall is back. Weird thing though - the display brightness appears to be less than the old one. Perhaps this is my eyes playing tricks on me?

THIS SPACE TO BE FILLED

01-01-2002

2002!!! Woo-hoo! Time to spend 6 months learning to write '02 on my checks...
