Herein lie the stories sung of Nikhil when the world was young.

I beat Malchorious' SETI@Home packet count! Ha. Ha! HA!!! How's that 500 now? You wanna mock my dual-166's? Do ya?
Well, how's packet times of under 9 hours, baby?! Huh? YEAH!

Well, I sent back the hokey-ass memory and bought the real stuff. Mushkin. Yeah, you know what I'm talking about. (That sounds better in a Barry White voice.) This stuff kicks my ass. In fact, I'm feeling a bit sore in that region right now. This stuff is SO FREAKING FAST! And in case you're wondering why I use these pathetic little euphemisms, it's because some corporations block "offensive" language, and what fun is that for my readers at work?

Well, I tracked the problem down to one of my DIMM's. Incidentally, I paid for Micron RAM, and I find out it's not only CAS3, but it's a Xerox board. What the freaking hell is that?! I paid for MICRON! Say it with me: "Micron."

OK, here's the scoop on the Athlon. It's fast as hell, no doubt, but it's not too stable. In fact, with the PC-133 memory I bought clocked at 133MHz, it's totally unusable. This is not good.

OK, first things first. I hate professors who do not answer your questions because they don't like you. After all, you're paying THEM!
Anyway, the parts for my new system, Monolith, have started coming in. This heatsink looks pretty wicked, lemme tell you! Also, I needed a damp towel when I unpacked my case - I mean it's HUGE! This thing truly is monolithic!!! Now, where'd I put that back brace?...

I apologize 4 the lack of updates, but damn it, I'm a busy guy! It's not easy being this good.
Well, my loyal fans, here's what's new. I'm in negotiations with a Japanese company that makes the ultimate tool 4 those of us who flash our BIOS's all the time, and are into BIOS tweaking. As everyone who's anyone knows, to get top-end performance out of a system, you need 2 tweak the BIOS image and reflash it; naturally, this is very risky most of the time. Their product maintains a backup of the BIOS on a second Flash ROM chip.
Stay tuned 4 more details after contract negotiations are complete.

Well, folks, after much hemming and hawing, I've decided to bite the bullet and buy a new system. My dual P54C-166 just isn't fast enough. Go figure. The new system will be an Athlon 750 (prob. overclocked to around 850 to start with), 256MB of CAS2 SDRAM, an Abit KA7 board, and the biggest freaking case you will ever see, with a redundant power supply, of course.
It will be dubbed, The Monolith.
Worship it. Make sacrifices. You will be blessed.
